Before relocating to Northern Virginia, Mas spent years filming weddings across cultures — capturing the kind of family moments, quiet emotions, and meaningful traditions that most cameras miss.
Long Story Films is the continuation of that work. Built here, for couples whose weddings are part of a bigger story — a meeting, a courtship, a family, a culture, a future.

We start before the wedding day.
Every couple gets a pre-wedding story session — a real conversation about how you met, what built your bond, and the family who shaped you. Your voices become the spine of your film.
We film like documentary, not music video.
Every film has a clear beginning, middle, and end. Family is captured deliberately. Quiet moments matter as much as big ones. The story is built first; the music supports it, not the other way around.
We edit for permanence.
No trending sounds. No gimmicks that age out. Your film is built to feel right in five years, fifteen years, and forty. It’s a film for your grandchildren, not just your Instagram.

What couples ask
Most couples reach out 8–14 months before their wedding date, especially for peak season (May–October). We take on a limited number of weddings each season to give every story the time it deserves — earlier is always better.
Yes. We’re based in Northern Virginia and serve the full DMV — Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland — as well as destination weddings across the US and internationally. Travel beyond 60 miles from our base is billed at cost.
A regular wedding video documents what happened on the wedding day. A story-driven wedding film tells why the wedding day matters — how you met, what built your bond, the family and culture you come from, and how the wedding day becomes part of that larger story. We interview every couple before the wedding so your voices and your story carry the film.
Standard delivery is 8 to 14 weeks after the wedding, depending on your package — 8–10 weeks for The Story, 10–12 weeks for The Long Story, and 12–14 weeks for The Whole Story. Rush delivery (4–6 weeks) is available as an add-on. We never publish a film without your approval first.
Always. Photographers are the first visual vendor; we work with your photographer, never against them. If you haven’t booked a photographer yet, we’re happy to recommend ones we love working with in the DMV.
Multi-event weddings — engagement nights, mehndi/henna, nikkah, ceremony, and reception — are some of our favorite projects to film. The Whole Story package is specifically built for multi-day celebrations. We’re especially experienced with South Asian, Afghan, Persian, Arab, and multicultural weddings.

You reach out through our contact form. We send back our pricing guide and a few questions about your wedding within 24 hours.
Discovery call
A 30-minute conversation — usually over Zoom. We hear about your wedding, your families, and your story. You hear about our process. No pressure, no sales pitch. If we’re a fit, we move forward.
Book + story session
We send a contract and a small retainer secures your date. A few weeks before the wedding, we sit down with you for a 45–90 minute story session — a real conversation that becomes the foundation of your film.
The wedding
We arrive early, work calmly, capture the day with intention, and stay out of the way. You won’t notice us much — that’s the point.
The film
Within 8–14 weeks, you receive your wedding film, your ceremony edit, and your social cuts. One round of revisions is included. After that, the film is yours forever.
